Gino Cecere born in Bonefro, (Cb) 11.5.78     Ever since I was a little boy I have always been fascinated by art.     My hands are mixed up in ink since the very first memory of my life that     I can think of. Then my interest gradually enlarged on painting, and I would make     Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton and Steven Meisel's models my first     subjects, educating my eyes to such a high level of beauty.     After the Art school, facing the problem of how to continue my studies,     a little unconsciously I choose photography, not really understanding why.     ________________________________________     --- ITALIANO ---    --- ENGLISH ---      next

Later on, the reason of my choice became clear to me.     Photography would put together my knowledge and love for fashion     with the freedom a painter has to create compositions with bodies and     evoke emotions with colors. E ho     le mani imbrattate d'inchiostro sin dal primo ricordo della mia vita a cui riesco     a pensare. Poi, gradualmente il mio interesse si estese alla pittura e feci delle modelle     di Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton e Steven Meisel i miei primi soggetti,     educando così il mio occhio ad un altissimo livello di bellezza.     Dopo il liceo artistico, di fronte alla scelta sul come proseguire gli studi,     un po' inconsapevolmente scelsi la fotografia, senza riuscire a capire     veramente il perché.     ________________________________________     --- ITALIANO ---    --- ENGLISH ---      avanti

Col passare del tempo il perché di questa scelta mi divenne chiaro.     La fotografia metteva insieme la mia conoscenza e amore per la moda     con la libertà che un pittore ha di costruire composizioni con i corpi ed     evocare emozioni con i colori.
